VirtuaDJ
This project came out of a course I took in Virtual Reality a few years ago. Please check the technical requirements section before attempting to start the application.

This application consists of a virtual reality model of a pair of Technics SL1210 turntables.

Features include interactive 'tool tips' which display the names of any parts of the machine under the mouse pointer and full simulation of the turntable's features including adjustable pitch control.

The project was written in early 2000 using VRML97 and JavaScript as courswork for a module on VR at the University of Birmingham.

If you can see rotating blue shapes to the left of this text, your computer is ready to view VRML environments. You may proceed directly to the application by clicking here.

If you can't see the shapes you will need to download additional software to view VR environments. Check below for requirements and software downloads.

To view VRML worlds on your computer you will need a web browser (e.g. Opera, Netscape or Internet Explorer) and a VRML plug-in for that browser.

VirtuaDJ has been tested using Windows 98, 2000 and XP using Internet Explorer (version 4 or higher) and both the Cosmoplayer and Cortona plug-ins.

If you're using an Apple Macintosh or Linux system, you should be able to use the appropriate version of Cosmoplayer or Cortona.

You can get all the software you need by using the links below.
